The supervision of a health structure is one of the activities contributing to the improvement of health care services. Our objective is to evaluate the supervision of health care providers at HGR Kenya by the ECZ. We conducted a mixed study on supervision at the Kenya General Reference Hospital for a period of one year from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2018. Our sample consisted of health care providers who had been supervised and who agreed to answer our questionnaire. Its size is 71. Our data were collected on the basis of an interview, encoded in Microsoft Excel and analyzed on the basis of SPSS version 23. 90% of the HGR providers said they were motivated after supervision; in 69% of the cases, the respondents said they were supervised 1 to 3 times a year. The literature review shows a maximum of 6 supervisions and a minimum of one supervision. The average duration of supervision is 4.7 hours±3.7. Efforts still need to be made not only to improve the quality of supervision, but also to make providers understand the importance of this practice in order to improve the quality of care.
