The present investigation entitled "Evaluation of Udaipur Rock Phosphate as a source of phosphorus to Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill)'' was carried out in to two experiments viz, in the laboratory of School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development, Nagaland University and in the AICRP soybean research project farm, Medziphema, Nagaland in the period of June to November 2015. The laboratory and field experiments were carried out in Completely Randomized design (CRD) and Randomized Block design (RBD) respectively in three replications. In the laboratory experiment an incubation study was conducted to examine the P release pattern of Udaipur Rock Phosphate and the changes in available P and pH during incubation were recorded. In the field, soybean was taken as a test crop to study the effectiveness of URP with or without amendments on yield and quality. The responses of soybean to various treatments were recorded i.e. yield and yield attributes, quality and nutrient uptake. The salient features of this investigation are summarized below.
