The overall objective of this study is to assist in developing appropriate small scale poultry production systems that could make use of the available resources of feed concomitant with control of some insect pests on cash crops of the region and minimizing production cost by minimizing the cost of sorghum grains in broiler diets (65% of the broiler ration/ ton). Specifically this study is proposed to investigate the following: 1. The effects of replacement of sorghum grains by different levels of watermelon bug meal on broilers feed intake. 2. 2. The effects of feeding different levels of watermelon bug meal on broiler chick's performance parameters. 3. The effects of feeding different levels of watermelon bug meal on meat quality of the broiler. 4. To solve an agricultural problems by make use of a harmful pest, watermelon bug insects. 5. To solve an environmental problem by avoidance of use of pesticides and pollution created through burning of bugs. Please read and evaluate is the study answer this assumption?
