Dawn Burns is a writer of fiction and creativenonfiction, and founder and co-organizerof the SwampFire Retreat for Artists andWriters. She was the recipient of a 2014 OhioArts Council Individual Excellence Awardin Fiction. Her work has appeared in WomenUnder Scrutiny: An Anthology of Truths, Essays,Poems, Stories and Art, and in various journals.Dawn lives in Syracuse, Indiana, where mostmornings she can be found taking pictures ofthe sunrise over Lake Wawasee.
