Diane Hanger (pictured, center, with her four children) was born in Carmel, California. She is stirred by the grace and power of words, personal interactions and the intricacy and strength of the human spirit, aware that every place in the world provides a unique stage for life's story. Humor is a constant ally and indispensible tool. This is her first novel. Diane is retired and once again lives in her beloved village of Carmel with her husband, Bruce. Four children, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren afford her immeasurable joy, as well as considerable insight into life at all stages.
