Nurettin Gemici, Ph. D. (1999) in Turkology, University of Otto-Friedrich Bamberg, is professor of Theology in Istanbul. His research areas include Ottoman History and Arts, Early Islamic Architecture and Ottoman Palace Architecture. His publications include Evliyā Çelebī'nin Gözlemleriyle 17.
