In other words, observations, experiments, and established scientific laws are inconsistent with evolutionary theory, and instead consistent with an intelligent design explanation. Following that in Part 2 is a lively debate between the author and an agnostic on not only evolution but multiple other issues debated between Christians and those of agnostic or atheistic persuasions. The author, Thomas F. Harkins, Jr., is a Christian litigation and appellate lawyer in Fort Worth, Texas. He is also a part-time author, primarily on subjects related to religion, evolution, and apologetics, such as his previously published Evolution Claptrap-Ancient and Modern, where he critiqued works by Charles Darwin, Francis Collins of the Human Genome Project, and theologian John Sailhamer. He has also had published multiple letters to the editor in various publications on similar subjects. He is married and has one adult daughter and one deceased son.
