Evolution of the Heart is a book of poetry that explores the understanding of love through the interaction with others. Everyone loves but just not in the same manner. Crazy love makes you do things you've never imagined you'd ever do. And often times we allow our triumphs and sorrows to overshadow who we are, how we truly feel, what we need, where we are headed, when to let go, and why we are living. Nicky and Dannielle's poems provide an optimistic and provocative truth to these questions. They force you to identify yourself, discover you have an unbreakable heart, declare your tolerance, withstand the ups and downs, and evolve into the best you to ultimately find your true purpose. And what better purpose do we have in life than to succeed at loving oneself and others unconditionally? Some say that time is the only cure for love, but once your heart makes that connection, it leaves a permanent imprint. There's no hiding from love, the heart gets what the heart wants, whether or not the heart will remain complete and not broken is the scary part. But we all take that risk. The risk to ultimately be in love. To be in love with our father, mother, spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend. Love comes in many forms. Although you may experience turmoil on your journey to love, Evolution of the Heart reminds you to stay true to your first love, YOURSELF! Love is the closest we get to perfection, and although no one is perfect, EVERYONE deserves love!
