The forces that drive change in gene frequencies in population includes:natural selection, mutation, migration and genetic drift. These evolutionary forces through time causes reproductive isolation, and result evolution of new species.

Mr. Gizachew Haile has obtained his MSc degree in Biotechnology in 2009 from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Since 2006 he has worked in different Ethiopian Universities as a Genetics, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology lecturer and currently working as a Biotechnology lecturer in Jimma University of Ethiopia.
