"Evolutionary Nutrition is a book whose pages exude restraint, free from the grandiosity, exaggeration, or falsehoods that flood many of today's nutrition books lining bookstore shelves. Moreover, Curro Clavero goes a step further, striving to explain the molecular foundations underlying the nutritional recommendations he offers readers."Carlos López-Otín(Molecular biology scientist and author of the most influential scientific study in the field of longevity: The Hallmarks of Aging) *** More than half of the population over the age of 15 has been diagnosed with at least one chronic disease: diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, joint problems, respiratory conditions, autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease... dementia, migraines, depression... This leads us to believe that having one of these diseases is normal and inevitable. But the truth is, just because something is common doesn't mean it's normal. In my practice, I often hear things like: "I don't think I eat poorly, and I do what I've always done, but my weight keeps going up," "If I'm not at the doctor's for one thing, I'm there for another," "I've been dragging this cold around for weeks," "I have to take a pill for blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, uric acid, sleep, pain...," "I feel fatigued, drained, and constantly hungry." But none of this is normal-and it is preventable. Throughout this book, backed by the latest science and proven experience, you'll learn how to nourish yourself properly, giving your body what it truly needs to achieve optimal health. And you'll realize that doing so is much simpler than it seems. Would you rather spend the rest of your years sick and on multiple medications, or full of energy with strong physical and mental faculties that enhance your quality of life and well-being?Come on! Life is waiting for you.

Autorenporträt
I know that when working with a professional, we like to learn about their academic background, degrees, etc. And while that may be important in many cases, I believe what truly defines me as a professional is my self-taught education-constantly questioning and verifying everything I have learned through "official" means-along with my passion for health, learning, and staying up to date in my field. My curiosity, dedication to research, and habit of constantly thinking about what I learn are, in my opinion, the key to my professional success. I am not satisfied with what I learned in my academic training; I always seek to improve and expand my knowledge. I make a continuous effort to stay up to date with the latest scientific research and advancements in the field of health, while also keeping an open mind toward "ancestral wisdom"-those practices that have worked for thousands of years and that science has yet to fully understand or explain. I love science, but I reject scientism. Although I apply all of this to my clients and consider it a fundamental part of helping them achieve their goals, I must admit that I also do it for personal enjoyment. It is a way to satisfy my own curiosity about the world and life in general, and about health sciences in particular. When it comes to acquiring knowledge, I consider myself an ambitious person. For those who prefer to know about my formal education, here are some of my certifications and degrees: * Higher Technician in Dietetics. Registered Professional No. 2497. * Degree of Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration, State University of New York. * Degree of Bachelor in Business Administration, University of Wolverhampton (UK). * University Specialist in Orthomolecular Nutrition and Bioresonance, European Atlantic University. * Course in Advanced Clinical Nutrition (Levels 1 and 2), ICNS (Institute of Nutrition and Health Sciences). * Course in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition. * Course in Nutrigenomics for Sports.
