Mike is an author for Pluralsight, international conference speaker, Microsoft Azure MVP, and host of the CloudSkills.fm podcast.   Nicole Stevens is technical director of an independent software venture (ISV) in the United Kingdom, which provides on-premises and hosted solutions across a variety of technologies and sectors. She has spent more than 20 years working within software development, starting out as an Oracle DBA to troubleshoot performance, design, and integration issues for large enterprises across EMEA. Switching to an ISV start-up brought fresh challenges, with a role spanning IT professional, technical consultancy, technical pre-sales, and software development. Nicole is currently driving adoption of Microsoft cloud services across the business, and her primary focus is the re-architecture of legacy software solutions for customers in the cloud.
