The automatic filling of missing/damaged areas of the image is essential for data loss correction. The broad scope for the use of this algorithm is in areas such as digital image restoration, artwork repairing. The process of removing objects from images starts with mask out the undesired object, making the area where the object previously occupies a gap. Then the gap will be filled using graphical techniques such as inpainting. There are two primary categories of the work that focus on missing image data recovery, first is the image inpainting and second is the texture synthesis.
