STEVEN I. DAVIS has spent his career in the banking and financial services sector as a senior executive, strategy consultant, author, analyst and teacher. As a banker he set up and led a London-based merchant bank. As consultant, one of his major assignments was to advise the Norwegian Government during the 1990s banking crisis. As author, he has now written ten books on the management of financial institutions.
