ASHER ARIAN is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the City University of New York Graduate Centre, and at the University of Haifa, and is a senior fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute. His many books and articles include Security Threatened: Surveying Israeli Opinion on Peace and War and The Second Republic: Politics in Israel. DAVID NACHMIAS is Romulo Betancourt Professor of Political Science at Tel Aviv University and Senior Fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute. Author of numerous books and articles on public policy, public administration and Israeli politics his most recent published book is Research Methods in the Social Sciences, sixth edition. RUTH AMIR is Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Emek Yezreel College and an adjunct faculty member of Bar-Ilan University. Her research interests and publications include executive governance and Israeli politics and society.
