Edith Grossman is the award-winning translator of works by Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Carlos Fuentes, Mayra Montero, and other Spanish-language writers. Her translation of Don Quixote is widely considered a masterpiece. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
