Many countries that want to receive revenues from
tourism in order to promote their country to the
world and to receive a share from the global tourism
market, have focused on national promotions. In
international tourism expo settings where national
promotion takes place, the goal is to reach a target
audience through exhibit stands and graphical images
on these stands. Stand exhibits, as an effective
means in national promotions, are a bridge between
countries and target audiences.

Stands and graphical images on stands for ten
separate countries are examined in the book. How the
differences in promotion can vary from country to
country, the methods that different countries use in
expressing themselves.

The main goal of this work is that by using stands
and above stand graphical images as an important
means in national promotion is to promote a country
using one aspect of that country.
Autorenporträt
Born in Ankara-Turkey,1975. Graduated from Graphic Design Dept.
Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University in 1998. Finished
MA in 2001, Phd in arts 2006. Studied in Brera Univ., Italy
in 2001/02 with schoolarship of Italian Government. Currently
working as an Asst. Professor in the Dept. of Visual Com.
