The present study conducted a survey on export oriented garment firms of Bangladesh in year 2010 through semi-structured questionnaire. Companies were selected using purposive sampling technique. The main objective of this research is to examine the practice of various lean tools in the Bangladesh garment manufacturing firms. It also focuses on the supporting factors for practicing lean successfully, The research finding indicate that the selected companies have adopted a wide variety of lean tools and technique and have support of associated factors for implementing lean. It concludes with recommendation for further work.
