If life is dark, it is time to seek the light in the night, conquer your demons, and find life lit by glorious abundance. It's time to not merely exist in the shadows, but to live in the light! Autorenporträt
Tyson J. Teeples grew up in a small, close-knit community in Southeast Idaho. Reminiscent of the Enoch's forest village, it possessed a sense of unity and community that remains a treasured memory. Was the community really a safe space, or was it Tyson's perception through the window of childlike innocence?Leaving his Zion-like community, Tyson embarked on an educational adventure spanning fourteen years. This journey was fraught with both moments of light and periods of darkness. Attending both Harvard Medical School and The Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, he completed diverse rotations including: inpatient mental health, hospital psychology consultations, adolescent emergency psychology, neuroanatomy, genetics, and critical-care trauma. Two doctorate degrees combined with broad observation of the human experience were enlightening. These experiences led Tyson to practice oral and maxillofacial surgery with a side passion for behavioral psychology, philosophy, and social science.Tyson and his wife Stephanie live in Alpine, Utah, and have seven children.
