Having been born in 1930, Donald Brown lived through much of the Great Depression. His work history included life on the farm, a ranch hand, national sales director and vice president of a pharmaceutical company, pastor and director of missions. In addition to the above work experiences, Don has lived in five states including time on an Indian reservation, in large cities and on a rural farm. He has traveled in the Near East, Europe and elsewhere. The varied experiences throughout his 88 years, dating from childhood, have brought about many interesting occurrences. As to his education, Don received his BA degree at Eastern New Mexico University, the MDiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and DMin from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Each experience recorded in this work is followed by a life application and appropriate scripture. The author's purpose is to lead the reader to see God's protective and guiding hand in all of life's experiences.

Donald R. Brown holds a degree in Journalism from Northern Illinois University with a background in nutrition and childhood development. He is a working screenwriter with two published books including, No Chicken, No Trees and There's a Little Kanye in All of Us. He lives in Chicago, Illinois.
