Human population has been experiencing displacement because of various reasons where majority of these reasons are categorized into three namely: due to direct actions by the state to make way for the development of projects, war and other types of political turmoils; and natural disaster. Conflict induced displacement as one types of displacement may force displaced person to be refugee or internally displaced person. Much research work has been done in the areas of such displaced persons even if these research works were mainly focusing in the earlier periods of displacement. It is unlikely to access research work that shows experiences of conflict induced displaced persons 20 years after their displacement that this book revealed. It is also seldom to find phenomenological research approach being applied to displacement studies. Using hermeneutic phenomenology, the book revealed several facts about conflict induced displacements that help researchers, policy makers and analysts, educators, learners, donors and practitioners including social workers while dealing with such issues.
