Alarming rate of depletion of fossil reserves and environmental destruction due to excessive fossil fuel combustion have been perennial global concerns over the decades. Transport vehicles greatly pollute the environment through harmful emissions and their contribution towards environmental destruction is very much significant. Scientists and researchers across the globe carry out extensive research, to find suitable renewable substitute to fossil diesel, in order to combat the ever increasing fuel demand and destruction of environment. Biodiesel is an important renewable substitute to diesel in diesel engine applications. In this present research, Manilkara zapota seed oil and Aegle marmelos seed oil diesel blends performance and emissions characteristics on compression ignition engine were examined. . The combustion characteristics like peak pressure, heat release, and cumulative heat release are also presented in this paper. The results are taken into account, a blend of 20% AMO is the best blend compared to MZO blends.
