With a rich multidisciplinary background, Prof. Dr. T. Ashokkumar is a distinguished academic and researcher with over 35 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. Prof. Dr.T. Ashokkumar holds an impressive array of qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Nanomaterials, an M.E. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, a Master's in Public Administration, a B.E. in Mechanical and Production Engineering, a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a Diploma in Automobile Engineering and a Diploma in Hindi. His early training in Electrical Domestic Appliances Repair and Maintenance during his +2 education further showcases his practical grounding in engineering disciplines. Prof. Dr. T. Ashokkumar also completed one year of specialized teaching methodology training at the Central Training Institute, Government of India, which has further enriched his pedagogical expertise. Prof. Dr. T. Ashokkumar's Ph.D. research, completed at Anna University's MIT Campus with experimental work conducted at IIT Kanpur, focused on "Mechanical Alloying, Spark Plasma Sintering, and Characterization of Fe-Ni Nanopowders." This research reflects his expertise in nanomaterials and their innovative applications in mechanical engineering. With over 20 years of multidisciplinary research experience, Prof. Dr. Ashokkumar has made significant contributions to various scientific, engineering, and administrative fields. His academic career journeyed through roles as Lecturer, Training Officer, Assistant Professor, AssociateProfessor, Professor and ultimately Principal and Dean. His 18 years of administrative leadership spans both university and departmental levels.
