Steve Marshall has lived for more than twenty years near Avebury and Stonehenge. Archaeology occupies most of his time: he is a member of several archaeological research groups and frequently gives illustrated talks on Avebury. He has had scores of articles, illustrated with his own photographs, published on a wide range of subjects for publications such as Wiltshire Life and British Archaeology. He lives in Calne.
