This qualitative research examined the knowledge respondents have, their feelings, personal experiences and beliefs they have which could give sufficient information about the status of culture of financing by various actors' such as the local community, the business community and other civil society organizations to improve the living conditions of poor people in general and marginalized children in ECCD programs. The thoroughly collected and analyzed data helped to answer the research question: "What beliefs and influences to the public and private firms or communities hold towards giving or financing in support of marginalized ECCD children in the community Addis Ababa Ethiopia?" The research findings are believed to provide some insight to those involved in giving to the poor community and marginalized children in the Addis Ababa community, especially to the business community and local government on how to collectively finance and make the support they give sustainable. The results also provided some directions on how to mobilize the community to enhance the culture of giving in an organized manner than in a fragmented of individual basis to make a greater impact.
