Addiction to pornography fits within the paradigm of addiction and has some fundamental pathways to addiction to drugs and alcohol. Overall, the negative repercussions of excessive pornography consumption extend beyond human well-being and have broader societal and environmental implications that must be addressed especially in Nigeria. This book first delves in-depth into the pre-historical perspective of porn and the history of porn in Nigeria. Through trend analysis, we show how pornography use in Nigeria has become a silent pandemic.
