The Social-Ecological Regime Shift (SERS) Governance framework has several advantages. It uses the Power Cube framework to analyze factors causing SERS and lists social and ecological impacts. This framework contributes to the academic community a power dynamics analysis method of the various subjects and their characteristics, causing the shift to understanding the motives and circumstances of factors instigating the social-ecological change.
