Anthony Kiwanuka est chargé de cours à l'Université chrétienne d'Ouganda - Mukono. Il prépare un doctorat en travail social à l'université de Makerere, à Kampala, en Ouganda. Il est titulaire d'un master en travail social clinique (santé) de l'université Loyola de Chicago (États-Unis) et d'un master en éducation et études du développement (UMU) et d'une licence en travail social (BSWSA) de l'université de Makerere.
