As a pastor for over three decades, Dr. Elmore has served throughout the Midwest in both rural and urban communities. Dr. Elmore worked as a chaplain for over 16 years at two community hospitals, a large state tertiary hospital, and later as a chaplain for a freestanding hospice house and community-based hospice programs. He has also been involved in prison ministry and appeared on television and radio. Dr. Elmore and his wife Coleen have been married for over 44 years and have three children.
