In real-world situations performance of a wireless communication is disrupted by multipath fading and shadow fading. To prevent such kind of problems cooperative external sensing methods are developing interest. The proposed energy detection based external sensing in cooperative multichannel improves the overall throughput and energy efficiency. It explores the cooperative sensing with energy detection for its low computational complications. The energy efficiency of spectrum sensing is mostly influenced by how frequently the primary channel is sensed by secondary users. By focusing on this point suggested approach tried to reduce sensing time and also improves the energy efficiency by quality energy detection. An energy efficient cooperative sensing model has been suggested and implemented in this book.
