The battle within is fierce, but the real enemy is closer than he thinks. Hunter's recent life has been a balancing act: juggling his nature as a vampire-demon hybrid, his work for The Order-a covert investigation agency-and his fragile yet powerful relationships with lovers Kai and Gibson. There, he encounters a mentor with a dangerous agenda-one that could bring down The Order and shatter the lives of those Hunter loves most. As Kai and Gibson uncover truths they've hidden from each other and themselves, Hunter must navigate the cracks in his personal bonds while they uncover the deeper conspiracy threatening their world.
