The setting of this story is long ago although the year is not clear it is irrelevant to the emotions, desires, and lessons derived that are timeless. All of John's failures, achievements, pleasures, and disappointments are easily transferable to our lives and culminate into a rewarding surprise conclusion. Needed for character development, the story does have some portions of intense sexual encounter and some sections of graphically violent battel that are best suited for an adult reader.

Mike has had a long career in Manufacturing Management and as a Management Consultant. During those years Mike has been published in a verity of professional publications and has been a featured speaker at numerous professional conferences, Over his lifetime Mike has always had a strong interest in spiritualism and the relation between our own spiritual nature and how it influences our lives. The main character of this book was first reveled to Mike by the spirit guide of one of Mike's friends, Pat. Later while floating in a sensory deprivation tank the character began to unfold. This is Mike's first novel. Mike is a native of CT and now resides in NC where he shares a house on the lake with his faithful dog Ginger.
