This work aims to apprise the reader about how to optimize the properties of biomaterials named as PLA (polylactic acid), ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) and PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol). Polymer samples of bio-materials PLA, ABS and PETG are fabricated and then checked for tensile strength, compressive strength, surface hardness and impact strength. Test results are used to optimize the response parameters using Taguchi philosophy. Fabrication of polymer samples of PLA, ABS and PETG is done by varying different input parameters, i.e. material of printing, number of the walls, and percentage density of samples. Later, output parameters such as tensile strength (N), compressive strength (N), impact strength (J), surface hardness (BHN) and density (g/ml) were measured. Experimental results were then processed as per Taguchi method to find the optimal settings of input parameters which can produce optimized tensile strength (N), compressive strength (N), impact strength (J), surface hardness (BHN) and density (g/ml). Optimal configurations for input parameters are found to be PLA in material, six number of the walls and 60% density of samples.
