Due to wide applications of tuned mass damper systems in civil structures, it is essential to study the effect of tuned mass on damping and frequency of structures. The present work establishes the uses of the tuned mass damper system and its applications. The various masses are added to the pendulum to study the damping effect, amplitude of vibration, and frequency experimentally for custom-designed tower-like structures. Also, modal and harmonic analysis carried out using Ansys workbench to extract the mode of vibration and frequency vibration of the material. The results of the above experiment and analysis gives us a reduction in damping ratio gradually when mass ratio increases at mass location 15cm. The irregular pattern was observed for the mass location at 10cm. The amplitude of vibration reduces when mass is added at 15cm, whereas amplitude increases when damping mass is added at 10cm height.
