Driving a manual wheelchair is a difficult task for physically disabled persons. The purpose of this project work is to provide electro-mechanical transmission power to the wheelchair. The proposed wheelchair has been implemented with the design and assembly of the whole body. Due to high sustainable stress, low cost, and availability, Mild steel has been chosen over Aluminium, Cast iron, Stainless steel for shaft material.
