Fossil fuels are used for industrial and domestic applications over last few centuries resulting in over exploitation of natural resources and rise in alarming rate of global warming. Renewable sources of energy are abundantly available, environment friendly, non polluting with lowest running and operating costs like solar, wind, tidal are examples. The solar energy is harnessed by using solar photovoltaic cells and it is used to power the mechanical water pumping system.Solar radiation intensity varies with time, month and season the maximum generation from the solar energy is achieved by orienting solar panels in two axis, maximum intensity of sunlight and generated energy is stored in batteries. This stored energy is constant uninterrupted power supply for continuous pumping of water during the day.Multiple sensors orient the solar photovoltaic panels for maximum power generation. A device monitors charging of battery prevents both overcharge and disconnects power to water pumpat minimum level. It can be operated by using smart phone with user friendly blyink application. Water level alerts by two sensors for low level and overflow conditions for switch ON/OFF.
