The virtual spaces provided by the Internet, namely the virtual social networks, enable people to be present virtually in different times and spaces. Nowadays, it is a fact that people associate digital social networks to their experiences and instantly communicate, share information, learning and leisure activities. Students and teachers are also inserted in virtual social networks and easily create bonds of social interaction. It is important for the teacher to make use of the potential of virtual social networks and to study strategies for interaction between students in these spaces in order to enhance the teaching and learning process in different times and spaces. In this book, we study the intensification of interactions between students in teaching and learning the subject of Applied Computing, through a virtual group on Facebook, in conjunction with reverse classroom strategy and b-learning. This book is based on the teaching and learning strategies in the classroom and in the virtual learning environment in order to explore the potential of both modes of teaching.

Manuel Teixeira es licenciado en Informática Educativa por la Universidad Agostinho Neto de Angola y tiene una Maestría en Tecnología Educativa por la Universidad de Minho de Portugal.
