This book is for the art lovers who appreciate the beauty of the female face. This book offers an artistic visual memoir to compelling feminine charm through 85 hand-drawn portraits, paintings, sketches, and illustrations. This book is an attempt to interweave the visual stories conveyed through portraits of remarkable female faces I happened to meet down the memory lane. The divine appeal, captivating beauty, mesmerizing charm and a multitude of expressions of a female face is the sole subject of all the portraits in this book. I have been fascinated by charm, smiles, expressions, and emotions on female faces. Female faces are capable of bringing unimaginable happiness, transformations, dreams, desires, feelings, and hopes in people's life who surround them. The portraits included in this book attempt to convey that special, unforgettable and hypnotic allure of female faces. The techniques I used are pretty basic and traditional. Some of the portraits included in this book were drawn as early as 30 years ago. The portraits are arranged into nine different thematic sections depending upon the method used to draw: Monotone with black pencil/pen; Colored portraits in two and three colors; Multicolor portraits with colored pencils; Full color paintings with mixed techniques; Hand-drawn pencil sketches with digital art; Minimalistic illustrations with colored pencils; and Expressive sketch drawings. Each portrait is complemented with a short poem that best captures the experience and emotions associated with that particular person or the expressions brought out by that face. Each face brought a story of its own into my life and each face left a unique memoir. A short narrative on the inception of each portrait or what intrigued me toward a particular face is included alongside the portrait. This book is bound to strike a few old chords, allowing you to have a few moments of reflection to connect back with yourself.
