This book is the result of a master's thesis dedicated to studying the applications of chorematics as a method and tool for spatial representations from a geographical perspective. For once, the models do not stick to the metrics advocated by conventional Euclidean cartography. In corematics, the main objective is the visual expression of the dynamics between beings and objects that are more complex than their simple location. This paper presents new representations of the spatial reconfigurations caused by conflicts between mining companies, conservation units and local communities over land use in the Serra do Gandarela, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The aim of this work is to contribute to geographical thinking with the result of polysemic maps.
