Lawrence Venuti's distinction between foreignizing and domesticating translation is a powerful concept in translation studies. This volume discusses domestication and foreignization in Polish-English and English-Polish translation and presents case studies of film, prose, poetry, and non-fiction, Internet memes and a card game.
