JENNI SCHAEFER is a sought-after expert on eating disorders, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She is currently a Senior Fellow at The Meadows treatment facility and an ambassador with the National Eating Disorders Association. She's authored several books, including the bestseller Life Without Ed: How One Woman Declared Independence from Her Eating Disorder and How You Can Too, and has contributed to anthologies like the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She lives in Austin, Texas.
