The purpose of this study was to identify factor affecting the quality of technical and vocational education and training in Hawassa tegbaread polytechnic college. To achieve the purpose of the study, descriptive survey research design was employed which helps to identify factors affecting effective implementation of the quality training in Hawassa tegbaread polytechnic college. The method of study is both quantitative and qualitative (mixed method) was used.The finding of this study revealed that trainee's related factors were trainees lack of foundation/background/ skills and knowledge, trainees are always scared of practical work in their occupations and trainees low attitude toward TVET.The trainer's related factors are trainers lack of commitment to conduct the vocational training, The facilities related factors inadequacy work shop training facilities (machineries, equipment, and hand tools).government or administrative related factors are lack of management support teaching and learning process, Shortage budget constraint to run TVET.
