The study sought to investigate the factors affecting management of ECDE Curriculum Programmes in Uasin Gishu County. Five specific research objectives were addressed, that is: to find out which factors affect management of ECDE in public and private schools, to establish the influences of training on the attitude of ECDE teachers toward management of ECDE curriculum, to find out the challenges facing the ECDE officials in carrying out management of ECDE curriculum in both private and public sectors, to establish the effects of management of ECDE curriculum on the performance of both private and public sector schools and to establish the policies to be adopted for effective management of ECDE curriculum in school. The study adopted the descriptive research design. The study used questionnaire and interview schedule for data collection. The collected data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the study noted that management of the ECDE curriculum is affected by factors such as availability of finances, infrastructure, strategic objectives, support from the management, dispersion of the ECD centres, local leaders and sponsor involvement.
