CAD/CAM appears to have taken the textile industry by storm and the benefits of CAD/CAM are being recognized and gaining acceptance by the industry. However, for successful implementation of CAD/CAM systems, awareness of the factors affecting adoption remains crucial. This book discusses CAD /CAM usage in export oriented garment manufacturing organizations in Sri Lanka. As part of a basic research the study attempts to enhance available knowledge by investigating the factors affecting the usage of CAD/CAM adoption in the garment manufacturing organizations. Sri Lanka is chosen for the case study.
