The first prenatal consultation should take place in the 1st trimester of pregnancy. The objective of this study was to investigate the factors associated with delay in the first prenatal consultation in the commune of Mopti in 2021.This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study running from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Data were analyzed with SPSS version 25, a logistic regression was conducted and Odds ratios with 95% confidence interval and p value probability 0.05.Of the 582 pregnant women surveyed, 413 had their 1st ANC after the 1st trimester, i.e. 71% of the delay to the 1st ANC.
