This study is aimed at studying the factors influencing classroom management in public primary school in Ifako-Ijaiye local government area, Lagos State, Nigeria. The design was descriptive in nature and it involved 90 respondents (consisting 90 teachers). The primary data was collected using structured questionnaires. Consequently, only quantitative data were collected. The respondents consisted of teachers from six (6) public secondary schools. The questionnaire comprised of two sections: section A consist of four (4) items on socio-demographic characteristics of respondents, Section B consist of questions generate for the research questions. Research findings revealed that teacher's attitude and instructional material utilization had a role to play in pupils learning motivation and these factors play a very important in teacher's ability to manage the class. The researcher also concluded that a well-run classrooms begin with the room's physical layout -the arrangement of desksand working space, the attractiveness and appeal of bulletin boards, the storage of materials and supplies.
