The book describes a study conducted since October 2019. The main objective of the study was to investigate factors that affect the utilization of institutional delivery among childbearing age women in Oromia regional state, Guji zone, Liben Wereda. The study used both qualitative and quantitative methods. Out of the nonprobability sampling, purposive/judgmental sampling has been used. Data was collected from both secondary and primary sources using document review and questionnaire. The results of the study indicated that the utilization of institutional delivery among childbearing age women in Oromia regional state, Guji zone, Liben Wereda is decreased from year to year for the last three years. The major reasons that decreased utilization of institutional delivery for the last three years are due to lack of awareness about the benefit of institutional delivery on the society, cultural constraint, religious constraint, large distance of home to health post, less quality of service in HCs and due to the absence of awareness creation trainings about the benefit of institutional delivery for the study area society by concerning governmental and non governmental bodies.
