The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that inhibit academic performance trainees/student in Boditi industrial and Construction College. Therefore, under this, the rates of students' promotion in last four years i.e. 2008 to 2011 are considered as indicator for investigation. To attain the general objective, three specific objectives were prepared; these were to identify institutional related factors that affects student academic achievement, to identify learner related factors that may hinder learner effectiveness in training program, to identify teacher related influence on trainees achievement of the program and to suggest possibilities for effective TVET implementation for the advancement of trainees in knowledge, skill and attitude in the manner of world skillful work force demand.
