According to Correctional Services Act 111 OF 1998 OF South Africa,The Department Of Correctional services has legal and moral responsibility over the parolees. The paroleesare supposed to be reintegrated into the society, while serving their sentences and ultimately become responsible citizens. There are parolees who complete their sentences successfully ,despite the challenging parole conditions and their personal circumstances. The authorities interested in those parolees who completed their parole sentences successfully. The strength perspective, together with other strength related theories, serve as a theoretical lens that helped to identify and describe the factors which enable the parolees to complete their sentences successfully. Qualitative and descriptive approach were employed. Semi structured interviewed were used to collect data. A sample of fifteen parolee who completed their sentences successfully was drawn. Data was analyzed using Cresswell's Approach. It was found that factors such as employment, education, job skills, relationships, networking etc enabled the parolees to complete their sentences successfully. Recommendations were highlighted in chapter five.
