Autorenporträt
Joseph Crosby Lincoln was a prominent American author well known for his remarkable novels and other stories that mainly portrayed life in New England, particularly in Cape Cod. He was born in Brewster Massachusetts and spent most of his life span in the Cape Cod region. Doing this he also worked various jobs which included serving as a school teacher and great journalist before he established himself as a renowned author. He was very much influenced by the everyday life of small New England communities and portrayed very comprehensively in his novel by combining regional dialects and social nostalgic moments. Lincoln's works were widely known for his creativity and superb dialects in the early 20th century and became a prominent figure in the history of American literature. However, he may not be remembered by today's Gen. Z but his valuable insights and cultural aspects are remarkable and show. The life of New England in the 20th century. His contribution to every major literature has conceived a long-lasting impact through his portrayal journey of small-town America.
