Henry Justice Ford (1860-1941) was an English artist and illustrator, best known for his illustrations of Andrew Lang's Fairy Books. Andrew Lang (1844-1912) was a poet, novelist, and literary critic. Frankie Bow lives in Hawaii and writes murder mysteries. She is delighted to have been invited to collaborate on the Island Colors series of all-ages coloring books from Hawaiian Heritage Press. Like her amateur sleuth Molly Barda, Frankie teaches at a public university. Unlike her protagonist, she is blessed with delightful students, sane colleagues, and a perfectly nice office chair. She believes if life isn't fair, at least it can be entertaining. She believes that coloring books are an excellent and healthful alternative to stashing that bottle of bourbon in the bottom file drawer.
